I AM. excited! and nervous for next semester. poetry workshop, fiction workshop, service learning, judo, + 2 regular classes, + 2 credits work on my senior thesis in poetry! i am hoping the workshops will balance out the stress of essay writing and all that nonsense... it might end up being too much but i want to try? i want to try to do this.
lately i've been looking at the upcoming end to my life Inside Academia and it's nervewracking. people tell me i should go to grad school and part of me wants to, because mfa! and because i know how to do this, more or less. otoh i don't really want to do it! for a variety of reasons. but i DO want to do well and take fun interesting classes while i am here.
i am really good at learning things. that's my main thing i do. i'm going to need to learn how to do that by myself i guess.
